John Hunt joined Quest Aircraft in March 2015 as Vice President of Sales for North, Central and South America. John brings 24 years of aviation experience to the position, which includes management positions at aircraft dealerships with multiple OEM relationships, managing a Part 141 flight school and Part 135 charter operation, overseeing maintenance operations and a stint with major airlines.
Hunt is well-suited to help support Quest’s dealer network and expand the KODIAK’s market presence. His previous experience includes over 12 years with Flightline Group, where he held a variety of increasingly responsible positions. He most recently served as Executive Vice President, Dealership Operations, where he was responsible for managing the company’s Piper, HondaJet and Mahindra dealerships. Additionally, John has experience as a regional sales manager for two other aviation organizations.
Prior to joining Quest, Hunt launched an aviation consulting company specializing in identifying emerging aviation analytical tools focused on improving the customer service experience.
He holds a Bachelor of Science and Masters in Aviation Business Administration from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University as well as a commercial pilot license with an instrument rating (ASMEL).
Hunt also has served on multiple aviation associations and boards including past President, Officer and Director of the Florida Aviation Business Association, Director for the Malibu/Mirage Owners & Pilots Association as well as the Southeast SATSLab Consortium.
