Company Continuing to Expand Global Presence
July 28, 2014, Oshkosh, WI…. Quest Aircraft Company is pleased to announce the appointment of Setouchi Trading, Inc. as the official KODIAK dealer for Japan and parts of Southeast Asia. This latest addition reflects the company’s commitment to continued growth and global expansion. Setouchi Trading joins an existing network of KODIAK sales and service dealers strategically located around the world.
“We have been exploring opportunities in Southeast Asia to enhance our presence in that area of the world,” said Steve Zinda, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Quest. “Setouchi Trading is a good fit for us and they bring experience, professionalism and enthusiasm for the product to the relationship.” Setouchi Trading is based in Tokyo, Japan, and their territory includes Japan, South Korea, Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Singapore and the Maldives. Quest and Setouchi Trading signed the dealer agreement on July 12, 2014, in Japan.

Quest continues to expand its global presence and has seen strong market acceptance in key market segments around the world, including personal use, Part 135 operations, government, and humanitarian organizations. The KODIAK is certified in 17 countries, with several additional certifications imminent.
The KODIAK’s rugged aluminum construction combines superior STOL performance and high useful load. It offers proven turbine reliability with the Pratt & Whitney PT6 turbine engine, has the ability to land and take off from unimproved surfaces and is capable of working off floats without structural upgrades. The KODIAK can take off in under 1,000 feet at full gross takeoff weight of 7,255 lbs. and climb at over 1,300 feet per minute. A 3-panel Garmin G1000 integrated avionics suite including Synthetic Vision Technology is standard equipment on the KODIAK.
