Two KODIAK® Aircraft on Display
July 25, 2016, Oshkosh, WI….Quest Aircraft Company is featuring two Kodiaks in their booth (Booth #263-264) at this year’s EAA AirVenture, demonstrating the variety of available options and the versatility the aircraft offers. The aircraft on display feature the popular Timberline interior and the Summit Executive interior. Three different interior levels are available for the Kodiak.
“We always look forward to being at AirVenture and seeing our customers and prospects,” said Sam Hill, Quest President and CEO. “Over the last few years, we have showcased new upgrades and enhancements for the Kodiak at this show, including the Summit Executive interior and the Garmin GFC 700 Automatic Fight Control System (AFCS).” Both aircraft on display feature the Garmin autopilot, which is now standard on the Kodiak.
Quest continues to see increased demand in a variety of market segments around the world. Since 2012, Kodiak deliveries have risen steadily, increasing to 32 delivered aircraft in 2015. Kodiaks are in operation around the world in key market segments including personal use, Part 135 operations, government and humanitarian organizations. The Kodiak has received 22 certifications covering 32 countries, with several additional certifications imminent.
The Kodiak’s rugged aluminum construction combines superior STOL performance and high useful load. It offers proven turbine reliability with the Pratt & Whitney PT6 turbine engine, has the ability to land and take off from unimproved surfaces and is capable of working off floats without structural upgrades. The Kodiak can take off in under 1,000 feet at full gross takeoff weight of 7,255 lbs and climb at over 1,300 feet per minute.
“In addition to the unique attributes of the aircraft itself, there is a wide range of optional equipment available, adding to its multi-mission capabilities,” added Hill. “Whether customers want a rugged workhorse, a comfortable passenger transport for business or personal use, or something in between, the Kodiak is the right aircraft.”
Quest Aircraft Company is the manufacturer of the Kodiak, a 10-place single engine turboprop airplane, designed for STOL use and float capability. Headquartered in Sandpoint, Idaho, the company was established in 2001 and began deliveries of the Kodiak in December 2007. For more information, please visit www.questaircraft.com.
