Quest Continues International Growth

KODIAK Now Certified in Philippines and Japan

November 17, 2015, Sandpoint, ID….Quest Aircraft Company continues to expand its worldwide market penetration of the KODIAK. The company recently delivered the first KODIAK to the Philippines as well as receiving type certification for the aircraft from the country’s Civil Aviation Authority. The aircraft was delivered to Subic Air Inc., who is using the KODIAK for air charter.
“We continue to strategically expand our presence internationally, which includes working on additional aircraft type certifications in key markets,” said Sam Hill, Quest’s Chief Executive Officer. “The KODIAK’s versatility and performance capabilities, including for seaplane operations, makes it perfect for a range of missions in the Asia Pacific region.”
The KODIAK has also received certification from the Japan Civil Aviation Board (JCAB). Two KODIAKs, both equipped with Aerocet floats, have been delivered and are enroute to Japan. The aircraft will be used for seaplane operations. Aerocet also recently received certification for its Aerocet 6650 float from the JCAB.

Quest has seen strong market acceptance in key market segments around the world, including personal use, Part 135 operations, government, and humanitarian organizations.
The KODIAK has received 21 certifications covering 31countries, with several additional certifications imminent.

The KODIAK’s rugged aluminum construction combines superior STOL performance and high useful load. It offers proven turbine reliability with the Pratt & Whitney PT6 turbine engine, has the ability to land and take off from unimproved surfaces and is capable of working off floats without structural upgrades. The KODIAK can take off in under 1,000 feet at full gross takeoff weight of 7,255 lbs and climb at over 1,300 feet per minute.

Quest Aircraft Company, headquartered in Sandpoint, Idaho, is the manufacturer of the KODIAK, a 10-place single engine turboprop airplane, designed for STOL use and float capability. Since beginning customer deliveries in late 2007, the KODIAK has been deployed around the world in a variety of applications. For more information, please visit www.questaircraft.com.
