Quest Debuts New Models at EAA AirVenture

Display Includes Special Mission Air Claw™ and New Cabin Interiors

July 23, 2012, Oshkosh, WI….Quest Aircraft Company, manufacturer of the KODIAK, continues to expand its market base as well as introduce new options and enhancements. This year at EAA AirVenture, Quest’s booth (#263-264 in the main aircraft display area) is featuring the new special mission Air Claw™ along with three new cabin interiors.

“We are pleased to be at AirVenture this year with several new enhancements and options for KODIAK customers,” said Steve Zinda, Director, Sales and Marketing. “We are also excited to display the Air Claw™, which showcases our special mission capabilities.” Earlier this year, Quest and Northrop Grumman entered into a Teaming Agreement to develop a special mission aircraft. The aircraft debuted earlier this month at the Airborne Law Enforcement Convention.

In addition to the Air Claw™, Quest is also featuring a KODIAK with the new enhanced Timberline interior and updated Garmin G1000 systems and software. Quest’s Garmin enhancements include a remote TAWs Inhibit switch, the GTS 800 Traffic Awareness System and Air Conditioning Inhibit functionality, which automatically inhibits using the air conditioning system during certain engine and generator power conditions. This KODIAK is also equipped with a Flight Into Known Icing TKS system as well as an External Cargo Compartment.

“We continue to enhance the KODIAK both in terms of product upgrades and operational improvements to meet our customers’ needs and also expand our marketplace,” Zinda continued. “The Air Claw™ is an example of our expansion into additional market segments such as aerial surveillance, law enforcement, search and rescue, and aero-medical.”

KODIAKs are in service with charter operators, small businesses, personal owners, skydiving operations, U.S. and international governments, and humanitarian organizations. Several KODIAKs on floats have been delivered, including nine float-equipped KODIAKs to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.

Quest Aircraft Company is the manufacturer of the KODIAK, a 10-place single engine turboprop utility airplane, designed for STOL use and float capability. The KODIAK’s rugged aluminum construction combines superior STOL performance and high useful load. It offers proven turbine reliability with the Pratt & Whitney PT6 turbine engine and has the ability to land and take off from unimproved surfaces. Headquartered in Sandpoint, Idaho, the company was established in 2001 and began deliveries of the KODIAK in December 2007. For more information, please visit www.questaircraft.com.
