KODIAK Debuting at the International Marrakesh Air Show
April 27, 2016…Quest Aircraft Company is pleased to announce that the KODIAK® aircraft is making its debut at the International Marrakesh Air Show. The aircraft is on display during the April 27-30 event held at the Marrakesh Menara International Airport in Morocco.
“We are very pleased to bring the KODIAK to this event for the first time,” said Steve Zinda, Vice President of Sales for Europe, Africa, the Middle East and China. “There are eight KODIAKs in operation on the African continent, and we see potential for more growth. Having a KODIAK on display at this important event enhances our marketing efforts in the region.”
The Marrakesh Air Show is held every two years, and draws a large international audience of civilian and military attendees, as well government delegations. Quest is exhibiting at the event in conjunction with its African dealer, SkyQuest KODIAK Sales Africa. The KODIAK on display was just ferried by SkyQuest to Africa and will embark on a demo tour after the Air Show.

Over the last few years, Quest has continued to strategically expand its presence around the globe. The company also continues to certify the KODIAK in key countries worldwide, and has begun working toward Chilean certification. The KODIAK currently has received 22 certifications covering 32 countries. KODIAKs are in operation around the world countries in key market segments including personal use, Part 135 operations, government and humanitarian organizations.
The KODIAK’s rugged aluminum construction combines superior STOL performance and high useful load. With powerful turbine performance, the aircraft has the ability to land and take off from unimproved surfaces and is capable of working off floats without structural upgrades. The KODIAK can take off in under 1,000 feet at full gross takeoff weight of 7,255 lbs. and climb at over 1,300 feet per minute.
Quest Aircraft Company is the manufacturer of the KODIAK, a 10-place single engine turboprop airplane, designed for STOL use and float capability.
