Jason Eddy
Senior Vice President, Operations
Jason Eddy joined Quest Aircraft in March 2009 as a Manufacturing Engineer, moving to Manufacturing Engineering Manager, Senior Manager of Engineering and Operations and then Vice President, Engineering and Operations. He assumed his present position in January 2016. Eddy brings solid experience in engineering, lean manufacturing, and process and materials management to the company.
Prior to joining Quest, Eddy was with Intel Corporation, the world’s largest semiconductor manufacturer, were he worked first as a Managing Process Engineer and then as Materials Program Manager. While at Intel, he was responsible for overseeing cost-cutting initiatives that saved over $4.8 million annually in manufacturing costs. His experience there included implementing lean manufacturing principles and managing all aspects of a process module in a 24/7, high volume manufacturing environment. As Materials Program Manager, Eddy developed and implemented material plans, oversaw inventories at overseas facilities, and successfully resolved global supply line issues.
In addition to manufacturing expertise, Eddy also worked in the educational content industry, initially in a content development role and eventually as Executive Director, responsible for all operations of his business unit.
Eddy holds a Master of Business Administration degree, a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, and a Bachelor of Arts in Physics. He has taken additional professional and technical development courses during his career.
