Company Continues to Expand International Presence
April 20, 2016, Friedrichshafen, Germany….Quest Aircraft Company is pleased to announce that it is again exhibiting at this years’ AERO Friedrichshafen. The event, which runs from April 20-23, features more than 600 exhibitors and attracts a large international presence. A KODIAK® with the Summit Executive interior will be on display in Hall 3, Booth 319. Quest is exhibiting at AERO in partnership with Rheinland Air Service (RAS), Quest’s authorized KODIAK dealer for Europe. RAS is also an authorized KODIAK service center.
The top-of-the-line Summit interior features club seating with a recline function, folding tables, forward cabinets, enhanced soundproofing and other amenities. The KODIAK on display also includes the popular external cargo pod, over-size tires, air-conditioning and upgraded avionics options.
“We are very pleased to again have a KODIAK here at AERO,” said Steve Zinda, Vice President of Sales for Europe, Africa, the Middle East and China. “Last year, we made our European trade show debut at Aero and it was a very successful event for us.
“Several KODIAKs are already in service in Europe, and we see this as a growing market,” Zinda continued. “Having a strong dealer like RAS representing the KODIAK, coupled with the impending changes regarding single-engine turboprops by the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), should drive even more interest from a variety of customer segments.”
Quest is coming off a strong 2015, having delivered 32 KODIAK aircraft, the best year to-date in the company’s history. KODIAK deliveries have risen steadily since 2012, as worldwide demand for the KODIAK has grown. The company also continues to certify the KODIAK in key countries worldwide. The KODIAK currently has received 22 certifications covering 32 countries, and is working on several additional certifications, including EASA. KODIAKs are in operation around the world in key market segments including personal use, Part 135 operations, government and humanitarian organizations.
The KODIAK’s rugged aluminum construction combines superior STOL performance and high useful load. It offers proven turbine reliability with the Pratt & Whitney PT6 turbine engine, has the ability to land and take off from unimproved surfaces and is capable of working off floats without structural upgrades. The KODIAK can take off in under 1,000 feet at full gross takeoff weight of 7,255 lbs and climb at over 1,300 feet per minute.
Quest Aircraft Company is the manufacturer of the KODIAK, a 10-place single engine turboprop airplane, designed for STOL use and float capability. Headquartered in Sandpoint, Idaho, the company was established in 2001 and began deliveries of the KODIAK in December 2007. For more information, please visit www.questaircraft.com.
